Clara says we should “ live life with gratitude because life is precious. “ What an inspiration to learn about Clara, the new centurion. She was born in Connecticut in 1915 and was raised in Detroit, Michigan. She met her husband Murray after WWII at an army dance. He was a doctor, and was stationed in Germany during the war. Together they moved to Boston where they raised their family. They retired to Florida in 1980 and after Murray passed away, Clara moved to California to be near her family. She has lived at the Jewish Home for the Aging for ten years now and loves it. Clara enjoys meeting new people, crocheting, watching movies and eating good food!
