Four Corners South Africa Screening Back

iangabriel four+corners   There is an escalating buzz around director Ian Gabriel's Cape ganglands coming-of-age thriller Four Corners, South Africa's official entry in the 2014 Academy Awards, “Best Foreign Language Film” category.   The film is a multi-thread narrative with four different family stories converging together around the coming-of-age tale of a young 13-year-old Cape Flats boy named Ricardo. It was an honor to cater the reception for the VIP screening of this moving film at the Aidikoff private screening room on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills. Gavin Hood, director of the 2006 Academy Award winning South African film Tsotsi introduced the film. In attendance were AMPAS voters and Hollywood executives.
