Another amazing night at AMPAS! The evening, hosted by Kevin Pollak, included screenings of all the 2013 Oscar-nominated films in the Animated and Live Action Short Film categories, as well as some onstage discussions with the filmmakers.
This year's selection of animated shorts represents both traditional and computer techniques showing “the authenticity of the past and the creative freedom of the future.” The five titles in the live-action category are diverse, ranging from comedy to drama.
